BPO Education Center
The BPO Education Centre, which has been operating since 2013, is a joint project of the Sopot University of Applied Science, the Invest in Pomerania initiative and HK Finance Plc. Corporate Accounting, the purpose of which is to prepare its participants for working as junior accountants in the sector of modern business services (BPO/SSC), is the most popular course. Anyone who is willing to reskill to become an accountant – regardless the professional experience or age – can take part in the training.
The training program has been developed in cooperation with companies from the business services sector, such as Metsä Group, Arla Foods and Bayer Service Center. After two months of intense classes held at the Sopot University of Applied Science, the course students take part in a paid internship at one of the companies participating in the program.
Initial selection of the candidates for the training is made. The persons who qualify at this stage will be invited for an interview at the corporation, in which internships will take place.
The primary goal is to quickly and professionally prepare the candidates for working in the sector of modern business services.
The BPO education center actively participates in the BSS sector in our region. We focus on short and effective trainings preparing the candidates for working in the BSS sector. Our training programs have been developed together with business practices / company managers in this sector of the economy.
As an indispensable tool in our work in BSS, foreign languages constitute a constant part of our trainings. We focus on English and German. Command of English at B1/B2 level minimum is required.
